Wane and Wax

My first attempt at a twin cinema poem,
a popular and emerging poetry form in Singapore.
This piece consists of two separate stand-alone poems “Wane” and “Wax”,
but can be read across simultaneously to form an entirely new poem

Loneliness have always come up as
an integral part of my life.

I want to look at loneliness at a neutral point-of-view;
as something I can relish the good, and accept the bad.
This is a poem to remind be that I may feel lonely, but never alone;
that I should always continue to love my friends and family around me.

Wane represents the melancholy of loneliness.
Wax presents my hope for warmth to enter my life.
