Horizon

Have you touched the place
That lies between
Earth and sky
It is a balance so fine
Of greying rainbows and shifting lines

If you touched the place
That lies between
Earth and sky
Tell me
What you find

Perhaps
A glow of twilight and a spark of dawn
A lukewarm when fire embraces ice
Last leaves of autumn and first blooms of spring
Tears of joy when smile and frown compromise

Tell me
If angels sing and devils harmonise
An unlikely duet – how nice

Have you touched the place
That lies between
You and I
It is a tension that binds
The greying rainbows and shifting lines

Something inspired from Star Wars VIII: The Last Jedi.
Very intrigued by the dualism Rey and Ben/Kylo presents,
I realised there is a tension between everyone, something
inevitable when two interact. But with tension, there also
can be harmony.

And wishing everyone a Happy New Year!

  1. Don’t see her turning him. He has to be the villain in the 3rd. Would like to think that no matter how deep down you go into the forest that there is always a way out, but think he’s just gone. Maybe in death, he is turned and will get to live the last few moments of his life in peace, similar to how Vader died towards the end of Episode 6.

    1. I agree. In the Last Jedi, I had some hope that he will struggle and fall to the light side. But after watching, I just want to see how Kylo Ren brings out the dark side, and go against Rey. Really looking for the last film in this trilogy.
