Heroes are born into
A world of darkness
that drowns the sun
A God of wrath
that confiscates the light
Darkness is chaos
that engulfs the flames of hope
Who dare say that moonlight is enough to warm the soul
Who dare say that the night has no real darkness
Who dare say that heroes don’t walk the lonely path
Who dare say that one can’t run towards the dawn
If the world is benign
how can heroes shine
The dark can never scare
As sparks in the heart flare
If the world is malign
who will let hope shine
The Gods can never trap
As wings on the hero flap
And only the hero
who returns life and hope to the people
Too many instances where the powerful oppress the weak.
Too many instances where those who claim themselves the throne fail to give to the people.
The world is in need of more heroes on the ground, to bring hope back from where it is taken.
